Sharing Our Deep Loss
With deep sorrow, LIAIM informs all our collaborators, friends, and partners that our dear Gary Zimmerman, founder and Director Emeritus, was called into the presence of the Lord on November 20.
We join in prayer for the Zimmerman family, extending our heartfelt sympathy. May the peace of Christ strengthen and comfort each one.
Brother Gary fulfilled his calling with love, dedication, and unwavering faith. We echo Paul’s words on his behalf: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Gary ran his race with passion, and his legacy continues to bear fruit in every life touched by this mission.
We also thank all who have supported this legacy of hope that he began more than two decades ago. Andrea’s Home has helped transform the lives of hundreds of children and currently it cares for 79 children and youth in safety and Christian love.

Letter From Jerri
Dear Friends,
I write today to let you know that Gary finished his earthly race on November 20th. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who lived his "dash" seeking to please his Heavenly Father in everything. We plan to gather together in celebration of his life sometime after the New Year. I will be in touch in the next few weeks, once we have a firm date for his service. I am so grateful for the loving prayers and support you have given over all these many years.

About Us
Love in Action International Ministries supports and manages the Andrea's Homes of Hope and Joy located in Latin America. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based out of Missouri with an additional local office located in Summerville, SC.
In response to the gospel, Love in Action rescues orphaned, abandoned, abused, and extremely poor children in Latin America, introduces them to Jesus Christ, nurtures them in a loving family home environment and equips them through education and discipleship to impact the world.
Love in Action has also established businesses that partially support and assist the home; a farm. café and bakery. The café and bakery were opened in 2023.
Each of these entities allows the older children to learn marketable skills as well as offer income for the homes.
